(I don't know if it's even my place to say anything, but I thought it needed to be said here and I hope it is okay for me to step in to do so.)

David (Marv) passed away on the 26th of June. Everyone who knew him surely knew what a wonderful guy he was, and I know he will be missed by many. My condolences go out to all who knew him well, all his friends, everyone who loved him - those who need to know know who I'm talking about.

He had a previous heart condition and under went major surgery last year. His doctors believe it may have been due to an undetected blood clot.

I am sure that even the ones of us who hadn't kept in touch in recent months, like me, are very shocked and saddened by this news.

It's heartwarming to see how much money has been raised by the good people of the RHMB in his memory so far.
